Often times you hear how 'necessary' it is to identify your Purpose in life.
This leaves many feeling unclear and confused, feeling lost, and with a void that must be sought out, that must be filled! I do not completely agree with this.
While becoming clear on a specific path or initiative is incredible and makes major advancements in our world; why force the process?
Why make yourself feel a 'need' to identify with anything? Be it a Name, a Career, a ‘Life Purpose’, a specific Aim, or Group? This pushing of energy and worry to rush and attach to something to call your Own, creates unnecessary anxiety, which often brings with it unhappiness and confusion or premature decisions that really don’t align with who you really Are.
Humans have been in many ways conditioned to think that we must identify with 'things' and 'ideas'... That we must link ourselves to something to tell us who we are, and if we don't link with something, 'I don't know who I am'... ‘I feel lost’. But what if, in truth real happiness and bliss and fulfillment comes from simply BEING.
Accepting the wonderful aspects of your self, and instead of needing to have a specific reason for living... What if that reason for you is my same reason? What if that reason is the same for all of us? What if your purpose for Living is Your Way of Being...Showing Love & Serving Others in whatever way you are at the moment.
You see, Your Way of Being moves through everything you do. It shines through whatever job, task, relationship, and interactions you have with the world around you. The most important thing to remember is that who you are and how you show up in the world has everything to do with your essence, your Way of Being, and very little to do with What you are doing.
Knowing this, I would ask that you TRUST that the specific thing you absolutely love to do that fuels and inspires you to make moves and accomplishments in life, will come to you.
And in the mean time, give yourself a break and realize that if you are showing up in life to LOVE and SERVE... However that manifests throughout your day, you've got the best Life Purpose I've ever seen. And it's right within you Now.
